Conservation Efforts

Photography for Environmental Preservation

I bring an investigative approach to my photography in order to collect factual data to reenforce my observations. With my data and photography I partner with many organizations to resolve issues I find along our valley’s waterways: Department of Fish and Game, Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society, Guadalupe River Park Conservancy, Santa Clara Valley Water District, Guadalupe-Coyote Resource Conservation District, and the City of San Jose Rangers and Police. Some of these efforts include but not limited to: monitoring the impact of herbicides on the river ecosystem and advocating for their reduction, recording and reporting the ebb and flow of homeless encampments and related pollution, monitoring/advocating for Burrowing Owls and reporting their locations to Department of Fish and Game, and researching the crucial habitat and corridors of the Grey Fox.
